May I just take a few minutes of your precious time and share with you a decision that transformed my life, and has brought meaning and purpose to my life. It was my privilege to represent my country of Northern Ireland in School Boy and Youth International soccer. I travelled the United Kingdom playing against England, Scotland and Wales, and then participated in the World Youth Competition in Italy.
When I migrated to Australia I played football in the Victoria State League for Box I had a good job, working seven days a week, ten hours a day. Then I had an accident at the place were I was working, and was off work for some time and during that time God spoke to me about getting my priorities right.
I invited the Lord Jesus into my life, I admitted that I was a sinner and needed God’s salvation; I was willing to turn from my sins, I confessed my sins. I believed that Jesus died for me on the Cross and rose from the grave; Through prayer, I invited Jesus Christ to come into my life and take control, In other words I receive Him into my life as Saviour and Lord.
As humans beings we were created for fellowship, first with God and then with other human personalities. Many years ago, a godly man put it this way, “Our hearts are restless until we find rest in Thee O God”. God is looking and waiting for our fellowship. He is longing for us to spend time with Him and to share our entire lives with Him.
I can recall almost 50 years ago, I was given a little tract from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, entitled "Steps To Peace With God. I want to share the steps to peace with you.Next Page
